Announcement from Cid Pearlman Performance

Cid Pearlman Performance is delighted to announce the four poets whose work will be featured in the upcoming dance/video/art installation (home)Body, which premieres at the Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History in January of 2022. This project is made possible by the Rydell Visual Arts Fellowship at the Community Foundation Santa Cruz.

The (home)Body Poets are:

A poem by project lead artist Denise Leto will also be featured in (home)Body.

The call for submissions garnered over 250 poets which came to nearly 800 poems. The number of poets was amazing, yet made the decision-making incredibly challenging.

We have selected nine Semifinalists and nine Honorable Mentions whose poems will be published on cidpearlman.org in November of 2021:
